Mortar for rendering by hand.

Dry mortar produced in accordance with the UNE EN 998-2 standard for rendering by hand.

VALSEC ENFOSCAR mortar is available in the following varieties:

Scope of application

Rendering on standard substrates: concrete blocks, ceramic bricks, etc.

Supply conditions

Bagged (25 kg. bags).


Grey and white.

Mixing instructions

Bagged VALSEC ENFOSCAR mortar should be mixed in a cement mixer. Add 3 litres of water per bag of mortar (0.12 l/kg). Mix to obtain a smooth consistency.

Do not use the product at an ambient temperature below 5ºC or above 35ºC.

Use within 90 minutes of mixing.

Substrate preparation

The substrate must be clean and dampened. Do not apply over old paint, gypsum or crumbling surfaces without first treating them.

Instructions for application

Spread in layers of 10-20 mm. For thicker layers coats, apply in successive 15 mm layers. Never apply more than 40 mm.

Use a level or trowel to smooth the surface and correct irregularities.

Respect expansion joints and treat them appropriately. It is recommended to divide the application surface into smaller areas for spraying.

Do not use if there is a risk of rain or frost. Work at temperatures between 5ºC and 35ºC. In dry or warm weather, dampen the mortar 24 hours after application.

VALSEC ENFOSCAR fulfils all the obligatory quality standards under UNE EN 998-1.

VALSEC masonry mortars are produced in industrial dry mortar plants with quality assurance systems certified by AENOR in accordance with the UNE EN ISO 9001 standard.

The data is based on trials performed in our control laboratory and is the result of extensive experience with the products made by the Cementos Portland Valderrivas Group. Different conditions on site may lead to variations in some of the data.


Bagged VALSEC ENFOSCAR should be stored in a dry place, protected from frost and direct sunlight. When stored adequately, it may be used for up to 12 months from the date of manufacture.


This product contains cement. Avoid contact with eyes and skin, and do not inhale the dust. Use rubber gloves and goggles when handling. Keep out of reach of children.
