Product range: Bricklaying

Valsec M-7,5

Bricklaying mortar (strength: 7,5 N/mm2).

Dry mortar produced in accordance with the UNE EN 998-2 standard for use in indoor or outdoor construction.

VALSEC M-7,5 mortar is available in the following varieties:

  • VALSEC M-7,5 GRIS.
Scope of application

Indoor and outdoor dressing. Brick walls, concrete blocks. Load-bearing walls. Placing roof tiles. Floors, pavements, levelling, and filling. Supporting layer for Valcol adhesive cement, for laying tiles.

Bagged (25 kg. bags).

Mixing instructions

Bagged VALSEC M-7,5 should be mixed in a cement mixer. Add 3 litres of water per bag of mortar (0.12 l/kg). Mix to obtain a smooth consistency.

Do not use the product at an ambient temperature below 5ºC or above 35ºC.

Use within 90 minutes of mixing.

Substrate preparation

The substrate must be clean and dampened.

Do not apply over old paint, gypsum or crumbling surfaces without first treating them.

Instructions for application

Spread the mix with a trowel. Place the tile on the layer of fresh mortar and press firmly.

  • Portland cement.
  • Aggregate 0/2 mm.
  • Inorganic admixtures.

Compressive strength at 28 days (with a consistency of 175 mm) ≥ 7.5 N/mm2.

Note: Water recommended for a consistency of 175 mm (UNE EN 1015-3) is 0.12 litres per kg of mortar.

VALSEC M-7,5 fulfils all the quality standards under Annex ZA of the UNE EN 998-2 standard, as certified by AENOR, and is subject to quality control under UNE EN 1015.

VALSEC masonry mortars are produced in industrial dry mortar plants with quality assurance systems certified by AENOR in accordance with the UNE EN ISO 9001 standard.

The data is based on trials performed in our control laboratory and is the result of extensive experience with the products made by the Cementos Portland Valderrivas Group. Different conditions on site may lead to variations in some of the data.


Bagged VALSEC M-7,5 mortar should be stored in a dry place, protected from frost and direct sunlight. When stored adequately, it may be used for up to 12 months from the date of manufacture.


This product contains cement. Avoid contact with eyes and skin, and do not inhale the dust. Use rubber gloves and goggles when handling. Keep out of reach of children.
