  • BASE CUARZO: A base of grey cement and quartz.
  • BASE CORINDÓN: A base of grey cement and corundum.

Mixing instructions

The product is applied by scattering it as a dry powder on the surface of freshly laid concrete.

Substrate preparation

Prepare the substrate by protecting any areas not to be covered; the substrate for the concrete must be compact and smooth. Reinforce the concrete with mesh.

Once the substrate is ready, spread the concrete uniformly and level with a magnesium float to open the pores.

Mortar made from cement, quartz/corundum, organic and inorganic admixtures, and pigments.

Instructions for application

Scatter the mortar manually so as to cover the entire surface of the fresh concrete. Then smooth and finish the slab using a power float (helicopter); the mortar should be applied uniformly across the entire surface to ensure a uniform colour.

Then finish the surface. Do not apply if there is a risk of frost or rain, or in very hot or windy weather.
